Learning Java

Postby John VanSickle » Thu Sep 09, 2010 1:39 pm

I have (finally, in the eyes of some here) decided to seriously learn some Java. My main purpose for now is to develop an online CAD application that can run on any platform, with the CAD project data saved on the server and not on the client machine.

At the moment the application is still in the "Hello, World!" stage (it printf()s the location of each mouse press and mouse release event in the client area of the window), but I hope to get it to a more interesting level without too much delay.

Hope my ongoing Diablo II addiction doesn't hinder this too much.

Due to the meds I have to take, I no longer have the reflexes for anything like Diablo... I envy you.
