I've been away from keyboard last week - now I'm back again and can resume work on JPatch

Welcome back! :D

What will you be working towards for the next release?

I did a lot of refactorin, and it's not quite finished yet. The good news is that after some weeks of coding in the dark I finally got the modeler working again with the new codebase. It will take some more time until I can release something though...

Btw, we talked about HDR and channels - OpenEXR looks like an interesting image format (it uses 16 bit floating point and can store multiple channels). I think it is or will be supported by most renderers (hint, hint, )

All right, I'll have a look at it. I've already factored the various types of illumination in Inyo, and added an alpha channel. Supporting 32 bit color shouldn't be hard, and I'll see if there's an OpenEXR converter somewhere.

Just hijackin' this thread to drop you guys a note that I'm back, too. Summer holiday is almost over and regular life starts again. Have some fine ideas for actually using JPatch again (haven't modelled anything in ages), so watch out
